Chairman of the BiH Presidency Bakir Izetbegović received the President of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia Maja Gojković, emphasizing that maintaining good bilateral relations of BiH with neighboring countries is at the very top of BiH's foreign policy priorities, Patria reports.
The interlocutors assessed that the relations between BiH and the Republic of Serbia are stable and that the bilateral cooperation between the two countries is good and open, evidenced by the dynamic exchange of official visits by top and high-ranking officials in the past period.
Both countries are committed to developing a policy of good neighborliness based on the principles of mutual respect and respect for sovereignty and territorial integrity, and open issues should be resolved through constructive dialogue in future bilateral activities at the political and expert levels, the interlocutors assessed.
They see the overall relations between BiH and Serbia as extremely important for the overall positive atmosphere in the region and the positioning of this region as a safe space for foreign investment.
