(Patria) - All polling stations in Serbia opened on time at seven o'clock and there were no irregularities regarding the opening of polling stations, said the President of the Republic Electoral Commission of Serbia Vladimir Dimitrijević.
At the first press conference on election day, he explained that only three polling stations recorded minor problems, so in Žitorađa, polling station 27 changed its location because there was no electricity, and in Sombor, polling stations 31 and 33 were moved to another room due to a burst pipe.
"As for the voting itself at polling stations, the polling boards gathered at the polling stations an hour before the opening and arranged the polling stations. They determined before voting that the received election material was complete and correct," he said.
He reminded that 6,500,666 voters have the right to vote in these elections, who can vote at 8,273 polling stations, of which 29 are in institutions for the execution of criminal sanctions and 81 abroad in 35 countries, Tanjug reports.
