ELECTIONS IN SERBIA Polling stations closed at 8 PM

(Patria) - Polling stations in Serbia have closed, but citizens who are in line after 8 PM can still vote.

Polling stations close exactly at 8 PM, however, if due to a large turnout citizens are in line in front of the polling station, the polling board must allow them to vote.

At 8,273 polling stations, 6,500,666 registered voters could exercise their right. Polling stations were open from 7:00 AM to 8:00 PM.

If, due to a large turnout, voters are in line in front of the polling station, the president of the polling board is obliged to designate a member of the board to determine the number of voters found in front of the polling station, and at 8 PM to stand behind the last voter found to mark the end of the line.
