SDA condemns statements by Croatian President, SBB and HDZ call for more sincere cooperation

Members of the SDA Main Board assessed the statements and accusations by Croatian President Kolinda Grabar-Kitarović as inappropriate, immoderate, and unfounded, after she stated in several media appearances that a threat to the entire region comes from BiH.

The Croatian President believes that Muslims in BiH are radicalizing.

- Making such untruths is not in line with the proclaimed policy of good neighborly relations and is a gross interference in the internal affairs of the sovereign state of Bosnia and Herzegovina – the SDA stated, following the sessions of the party's Main Board held on Saturday in Sarajevo.

Members of the SDA Main Board also discussed other topics, including intra-party and intra-coalition problems.

- The Main Board calls on the SBB leadership to foster more sincere cooperation with the SDA in order to stabilize the coalition and the situation in the country. Controversial statements and accusations from SDA associates are harmful and aid those forces that do not want stability in BiH – the SDA stated. The party also calls for stabilization within the SDA in Srebrenica, resolution of the Sejdić-Finci ruling, and other problems burdening BiH.

- SDA will provide maximum contribution for the promptest possible implementation of the Sejdić-Finci ruling. Given that the resolution of this issue has been blocked for too long due to the HDZ's insistence on simultaneously resolving issues of interest to that party, we expect the HDZ to propose such solutions. The Main Board emphasizes that any proposal containing new divisions on an ethnic principle will not be supported by the SDA – it was announced from the SDA, reports NAP.
