Around twenty Dinamo Zagreb fans released from Greek prison

(Patria) - The first group of Croatian Dinamo fans were released today from a Greek prison where they had been under investigation since August for participating in a clash with fans of Greek AEK, HRT reported.

Yesterday, Greek judicial authorities decided to release 30 members of BBB, fans of Dinamo Zagreb, on bail, with a ban on entering Greece for sports events and a bail of 1,000 euros for each.

It is unofficially known that there are about twenty fans, Hina reports.

BBB members have been in pre-trial detention since August for participating in a clash with fans of Greek AEK in which one fan of the Athens club died.

In recent days, all suspects were questioned in Greek courts and denied guilt.

Greek media reported that about 95 requests for release were filed.

Bad Blue Boys waited for freedom in 14 prisons across Greece.

Minister of Justice and Public Administration Ivan Malenica said last night that he believes all Croatian citizens should come to Croatia by Christmas.

- We all need patience to wait for the decisions of the Greek courts, but, well, we hope and believe in the best, that they will be home for Christmas - Malenica said.
