Member of the BiH Presidency Mladen Ivanić spoke today in Mostar with the Prime Minister of the Republic of Serbia Aleksandar Vučić, it was announced from the BiH Presidency, reports the news agency Patria.
Ivanić and Vučić discussed the situation in BiH and the region, with a special emphasis on the position of Republika Srpska, as well as the position of Serbs in BiH.
Bilateral relations between BiH and Serbia were also discussed. Ivanić and Vučić concluded that the relations between Serbia and BiH have not been problematic, given that the individual views of certain members of the BiH Presidency are not the views of BiH.
He emphasized that the stance of BiH is exclusively what all three members of the BiH Presidency agree on.
- Izetbegović had his views, and those are not the views of BiH. BiH considers Serbia a good and fair friend, and we will continue that way, said Ivanić, adding that it is high time to lower the tensions between the two countries.
He cited the example of Srebrenica, the cancellation of Tomislav Nikolić's visit due to Naser Orić, and "lecturing regarding the latest Hague verdicts".
