Ivanić and Dodik with Nikolić and Vučić: What will be the messages from the Belgrade meeting

In Belgrade today, the President and Prime Minister of Serbia, Tomislav Nikolić and Aleksandar Vučić, will talk with the Chairman of the Presidency of BiH and President of RS, Mladen Ivanić and Milorad Dodik. The topic is the announcement of the submission of a request for a review of the verdict in the lawsuit filed by BiH against Serbia before the International Court of Justice in The Hague, writes Patria.

Dodik said that RS will never agree to be part of any lawsuit against Serbia and that this is an unauthorized action by Bakir Izetbegović aimed at destroying RS. Ivanić sent a letter to the Court in The Hague informing them that no consensus was reached in the Presidency of BiH for the review.

Vučić, unlike Dodik and Ivanić, has made measured statements. He said that the review is not good for the situation in the region, but that the situation needs to be calmed down and that work will be done on it.

Similar messages were sent by the Chairman of the Council of Ministers, Denis Zvizdić. He said he expects Vučić, after today's meeting with Ivanić and Dodik, "as a rational and wise person, to send a message of the same or similar content after the meeting".

-The continuation of cooperation, the improvement of overall relations, the calming of passions, and peace and stability in the region have no alternative, Zvizdić said.
