(Patria) - Executive Director of the Belgrade Bureau for Social Research (BIRODI) Zoran Gavrilović stated today, presenting the results of the research "Public Opinion in Serbia and Media", that 71.8 percent of respondents answered that Serbia should not impose sanctions on Russia, and that respondents believe that the main culprits for the war in Ukraine are "everyone except Russia".
- There is a dominant view in Serbian society, which is that the EU, the USA and NATO, together with Ukraine, are to blame for Russia's aggression against Ukraine - Gavrilović said at a press conference.
Gavrilović stated that when asked how Serbia should behave towards the situation in Ukraine, the largest number of respondents answered that it should be neutral, while 37.8 percent believe that it should support the Russian side.
- We cross-referenced the source of information and the stance on the war. The findings clearly show that militarism is most present among the audiences of Happy, Pink, b92, and RTS - says Gavrilović.
He adds that "the audience of Happy, b92, primarily Pink and Nova S, justifies the war in Ukraine, while the audience of N1 and, to some extent, Nova S does not justify it", reports Danas.rs.
