THE TRUTH BOTHERS THEM Ivo Miro Jović offers 'support' to prosecutor Ivan Matešić for the 'Croatian cause', waiting for Dragan Čović!

By Rasim Belko

Every exposure of truth manipulation bothers them. And let it bother!

Today, on the pages of Večernji list, former member of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Ivo Miro Jović, is defending state prosecutor Ivan Matešić. This is a continuation of the action 'let's defend our prosecutor to defend our version of the truth'.

It is evident that nervousness is growing in the hornet's nest, the verdict in the Križančevo selo case is approaching, and the light of truth is getting brighter. The only question is whether the prosecutor or those defending him are more nervous. The State Prosecutor's Office is definitely targeted by HDZ media, as a report against prosecutor Ivan Matešić awaits unpacking there.

In a statement to Večernji, Ivo Miro Jović claims that they exchanged Egyptian general Ghanem Gamal for access, site clearance, and the exhumation of 64 bodies of those killed in Križančevo selo. However, right from the start, Jović's story differs from the official one. Ivo Miro Jović claims that General Ghanel Gamal strayed into an HVO checkpoint in Tušanj (a settlement on the left bank of the Fojna river), where he was allegedly killed after HVO soldiers were abducted, while official information states that Gamal died in fighting near Završje, on the other side of the river.

However, that is entirely irrelevant. Ivo Miro Jović's story about the massacre of Croats, whom he exhumed, was debunked long before he decided to tell it. As we have already written, the commander of British forces in Central Bosnia, Peter Gage Williams, stated at The Hague: 'We exhumed nine bodies in the presence of the BBC. To our limited knowledge, they were all of military age and died in an extremely traumatic manner, which we assessed as death in combat. We then interviewed three men who were captured and held in detention in Zenica, and finally presented the report, not only to the UN but also to the Croatian military authorities in the Vitez enclave. The investigation's conclusions suggested that there was no evidence to support the theory of a massacre. The evidence points to a tactical success (of the ARBiH forces) that led to significant loss of life (of HVO soldiers).'

Evidence number two, which refutes Ivo Miro Jović, is intelligence information that directly blames Colonel Tihomir Blaškić for the HVO's failure in Križančevo selo.

The mentioned information states: 'There are major shortcomings in the selection of command personnel, who are incapable of performing their assigned tasks on most defense lines, which significantly affects the situation within units, troop morale, and thus the quality of defense. No one has been held accountable for the failures in the defense of the free territories of Central Bosnia so far, for which Colonel Blaškić bears a large part of the blame, as his zone of responsibility was recently much larger than it is now. We will cite just a few conscious examples of incompetence and irresponsibility on the defense lines that resulted in losses of personnel and territory. Križančevo selo - a key dugout that covered the cleared area through which an breakthrough was not expected was abolished, an area through which the enemy had on several occasions ALLOWED OUR REFUGEES from Zenica to pass, during which they convinced themselves of the absence of a minefield, and through which a sabotage group of the MOS passed, coming behind the defenders' backs, which resulted in the temporary fall of the village and the loss of over 55 military-capable men...'

Furthermore, it is a fact that the Križančevo selo case was not even considered a possible crime at the Hague Tribunal, because it is clear that they did not even view this case as a war crime.

What Ivo Miro Jović says in the third installment of his attempt to mask the truth on the pages of Večernji list largely builds upon what Lidija Bradara and Sanja Vlaisavljević have told us in recent months. Both shamelessly tried to rehabilitate Dario Kordić, a convicted war criminal, including for the atrocities in Ahmići, the pinnacle of bloodshed.

However, Kordić also committed acts for which he was not held accountable. Among them is the incident in Busovača where he trampled on both the HDZ and SDA, and became every form of civil and military authority. Busovača is right next to Kiseljak, a place where Ivo Miro Jović fought, who today sends 'support to Ivan Matešić' in an attempt to secure a verdict as part of the 'Croatian cause', i.e., a plan for equalization.

Namely, the Security Service report on the situation of the HVO in four municipalities of Central Bosnia, dated February 8, 1994, states that Kordić, using Stalinist methods, froze the work of the HDZ and nullified the work of all legally elected bodies. According to the information, Kordić announced through 17 points that the HVO was taking over all power, and also shut down the SDA. The same information stated that this was done before any conflicts.

'In January 1993, the first conflicts began, caused by constant incidents perpetrated by members of Kordić's and Slišković's escorts (blowing up a Muslim kiosk, mistreating Muslim religious officials, looting and killing Muslims),' the SIS information states.

Even beyond that information, it was quite clear that under the command of Franjo Tuđman's shock troops, the HVO in Central Bosnia had initiated conflicts, killing everything they could. Their goal is shown by a tanker truck filled with explosives that was intended to destroy Stari Vitez, a bulldozer that was supposed to terrorize the citizens of that city, and a plan to destroy every Bosniak settlement up to Travnik with explosives, and then occupy that city.

Now, all these facts are being attempted to be masked by an indictment for something that was also exposed as a military objective. And not through legal procedures, because that is impossible, but by buying the truth, as we have already written. And the truth was attempted to be bought from witnesses who began to speak publicly. And from that moment, when the ball of yarn began to unravel, the campaign began claiming that 'remnants of the intelligence service are pressuring prosecutor Matešić'.

Every citizen of this country with internet access can verify the testimony of protected witness K4, and Muamer Tarahija in court regarding the way Ivan Matešić conducted the investigation.

However, the authors of the spin who send 'support to prosecutor Matešić' know this, perhaps considering him a Croatian prosecutor. Or maybe he is, who knows!.
