High Representative Valentin Inzko met today in Bled with the Prime Minister of Serbia, Ana Brnabić, before the start of the 12th Bled Strategic Forum.
The High Representative took the opportunity to congratulate Brnabić on her appointment as Prime Minister of Serbia and to inform her about current political developments in BiH from the perspective of his mandate.
- It is my firm conviction that the place of the Western Balkans is in the European Union. The European integration process will rapidly motivate and encourage reforms that are necessary to improve the functionality of each country in the region, as well as the prosperity of its citizens who would benefit from further strengthening of regional cooperation - said the High Representative.
The High Representative is attending the 12th Bled Strategic Forum, an annual meeting organized by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Slovenia and the Center for European Perspectives, which brings together high-ranking officials from Southeastern Europe and other regions.
