Shortly before the attempted abduction of little M.P. in Serbia, a fortunately also unsuccessful attempt to abduct a child occurred in Sarajevo, writes novosti.rs, reports the Patria News Agency.
It has not yet been determined whether these two cases are connected.
This incident happened in front of the building of the Primary School of the Catholic School Center (KŠC) in the Sarajevo settlement of Stup.
After classes ended, a school bus arrived to take the children home. At that moment, an unknown woman wanted to take away an 8-year-old boy, N., who attends the second grade of the aforementioned primary school.
The woman said that she had arranged with the parents to take the boy home instead of him going by bus. Fortunately, the bus driver was alert and did not allow the woman to take the child. He said that he had to check with the school administration and parents, after which the unknown woman disappeared in an unknown direction.
The boy's mother, Darijana Vujnić, reported the case to the police, who, like the KŠC, have not yet commented on the case, and it is not known to the public what happened next.
The attempted abduction of a two-year-old girl in Belgrade, allegedly by an international child trafficking mafia, has shocked all of Serbia, as well as the region. Thanks to the swift action of the police, the girl was saved.
