Ilija Cvitanović called on the Church and Croatia to clearly define their stance on HDZ BiH's policy

MOSTAR, (Patria) - Diana Zelenika is the candidate of HDZ 1990 for the BiH Presidency member from the Croat people in the October elections. This was announced today at a press conference at the party headquarters in Mostar, reports Patria agency.

The president of "devedesetka" (the nineties) Ilija Cvitanović said that after being elected to the Presidency, Zelenika will resign from her party positions in order to represent all Croats, as well as other citizens in Bosnia and Herzegovina, in the Presidency.

"We have chosen a candidate who will restore hope to the people," said the president of "devedesetka".

Cvitanović called on the Catholic Church in Bosnia and Herzegovina, as well as the highest political leadership of Croatia, to clearly condemn the policy pursued by HDZ BiH, or to clearly state that they support the current situation in the country. He also called on the international community to use their authority.

Speaking about the organization of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Cvitanović said that Bosnia and Herzegovina cannot be a civic country, and that Bosniak politicians, as representatives of the most numerous people, must take responsibility.

The president of HDZ 1990 is convinced of Zelenika's victory, as well as that after October 7th, a more stable and prosperous time will come for Bosnia and Herzegovina.  

Diana Zelenika was born in 1964. She is a well-known internist, cardiologist, and doctor of science from Mostar. She has been involved in politics for over ten years. She was a representative in the HNK Assembly. She is currently a representative in the Parliament of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
