(Patria) - The Croatian Parliament today confirmed Ivan Anušić as the new Minister of Defence with 77 votes "for".
Let's recall, Mario Banožić was relieved of his duties on Saturday for causing a fatal traffic accident.
Anušić received the votes of 77 out of a total of 151 representatives, which is the number of seats in the Parliament.
55 representatives voted against, while there were no abstentions.
The new Minister of Defence of Croatia then took the oath, which fulfilled the conditions for him to attend the Government session today.
