ZAGREB (Patria) - Minister of Economy, Entrepreneurship and Crafts Darko Horvat stated on Thursday that everything related to untangling the case of Aluminij Mostar will happen in the next few days.
When asked by journalists before the Government session to comment on the situation surrounding Aluminij Mostar, where production has ceased and the Croatian state has a 12 percent stake, Horvat said that he does not have all the relevant information at this moment, making it difficult to answer the question, HINA reported.
"The way this story will be resolved is not exclusively tied only to the Government of the Republic of Croatia. I think people in Bosnia and Herzegovina are currently working on untangling and resolving the situation," he said.
When asked what about Luka Ploče, to which Aluminij Mostar brought 50 percent of its revenue, Horvat replied that everything related to untangling the case of Aluminij Mostar "will happen in the next few days and at this moment any insinuations about what, where, how, are premature."
Minister of Finance Zdravko Marić said that Luka Ploče has its own perspective "and it needs to be further developed."
Aluminij had its electricity supply cut off on Wednesday due to multi-million euro debts, marking its end while 900 workers were left jobless.
