Croatian media: Serbia threatens with Russian MiGs!

After Serbian Prime Minister Aleksandar Vučić demonstratively left Brussels because the EU did not remove obstacles to opening Chapter 26 in Serbia's negotiations with the EU, or rather because an agreement with Croatia was not reached on withdrawing its blockade of the opening of this chapter, relations between Croatia and Serbia have become further complicated, writes the Patria agency.

Vučić expressed disappointment with this blockade and said he had enough of "Croatian torment" and that things would be different from now on.

Given that Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov also visited Belgrade yesterday and confirmed that official Moscow is ready to provide weapons to Serbia in response to NATO's armament of Croatia, Croatian media have been writing today that this is a "threat from Serbia".

Reportedly, Russia is expected to donate four supersonic fighter jets of the MiG-29 type and other military equipment to Serbia.

Ivica Dačić, Serbia's Minister of Foreign Affairs, stated that Serbia must strengthen its armed forces given NATO's armament of neighboring Croatia.

- When Croatia is armed by NATO, everyone says it is not offensive and not aimed against anyone. And I ask: against whom can Croatia use it except against Serbia, they won't aim at Vienna, Budapest, Rome? It is not disputed that Croatia receives donations, but it is disputed that Serbia will receive donations - Dačić said yesterday, emphasizing that Serbia is not preparing for any wars, but wants to have a "high level of defense capability".
