Croatian media: Ivica Todorić in Belgrade preparing a plan to overthrow the Croatian government

Croatian businessman Ivica Todorić has held a series of meetings in Belgrade in recent weeks, N1 has learned from two independent sources in two countries, reports Patria News Agency.

Todorić held talks ahead of the publication of a series of articles on his blog in which he fiercely accuses the Croatian Government of illegal actions before, during, and after the adoption of Lex Agrokor.

At the meetings in Belgrade, he spoke with a number of Croatian, Serbian, and British media and business advisors from whom he wanted to learn their opinions on his position and planned public statements through publications on his website.

Todorić also met with his legal team, and specifically in Belgrade with one of the leading international law attorneys.

Todorić arrived at the meetings with a series of documents on which he sought expert opinions and assessments of their media, as well as legal strength, in potential court proceedings from his interlocutors.

The most interesting detail in these conversations, as N1 has learned, was Ivica Todorić's determination and conviction that he was handling facts and evidence that he was convinced could bring down the Government. The intensity with which he presented himself surprised some advisors and lawyers to such an extent that they advised him to be cautious in assessing the facts he presented in the conversations.

Todorić also compiled a kind of list of "enemies".

At the top of the list is his former head of finance, Ivan Crnjac. This is due to the business, as well as private, family relationship that connected them in Agrokor until the adoption of the special law on extraordinary administration.

Immediately behind him is Willi Hemetsberger, the man Todorić considers the author of the roll-up credit model in Agrokor. Hemetsberger, interestingly, was one of the key people involved in the sale and takeover of Volksbank from Sberbank for 550 million EUR.

For the Financial Times, Hemetsberger then advocated for the Russian bank in a statement, saying that Sberbank is strongly entering markets and growing while other banks are "shrinking". At that time, interestingly, Sberbank also began to heavily credit Agrokor.

Today, Hemetsberger, as a partner of Ithuba Capital from Vienna, is one of Ante Ramljak's advisors in Agrokor. And Todorić is convinced that he has been deceived, both personally and Sberbank, and that he helped funds enter Agrokor.

Next on Todorić's list of enemies is Deputy Prime Minister Martina Dalić, and immediately behind her Ante Ramljak.
