Croatia defeats Belarus, successful Netherlands and Hungary

(Patria) - The first three matches of today's program at the European Handball Championship were played from 4 PM, with the Croatian national team recording a victory over Belarus with a score of 31:23.

The Croats, as big favorites, faced Belarus and achieved an expected triumph, which is their second at this European Championship in as many matches played.

Already after the first half, the Cowboys had a big lead, so maintaining the lead was a routine matter in the continuation.

Croatia was led to victory by Igor Karačić with six goals, while Luka Stepančić added five.

Hungary and Russia played a great match, which ended in a dramatic victory for the Hungarians with a score of 26:25.

On the wings of Smits and Sluijters (combined 13 goals), the Netherlands easily celebrated against Latvia with a score of 32:24.
