Croatian President on a spiritual visit to BiH, visited Međugorje and Mostar

Croatian President Kolinda Grabar-Kitarović is on a private visit to Bosnia and Herzegovina, and initially arrived in Međugorje. In a photo published on the official Facebook page, the president is in front of a statue of the Virgin Mary, writes the BiH news agency Patria.

Today, Grabar Kitarović walked through Mostar and visited the Franciscan Monastery of St. Peter and Paul. She was welcomed by the monastery's guardian, fra Iko Skoko, and friars, as well as the Prime Minister of Herzegovina-Neretva Canton, Nevenko Herceg.

Her visit attracted the attention of numerous media outlets, as well as the local population, given that it is an unofficial visit by the president of a neighboring country.
