Deputy Prime Minister of Croatia Božo Petrov and Minister of Foreign and European Affairs of Croatia Miro Kovač will be visiting Stolac today.
Petrov and Kovač are coming to Stolac after an incident broke out in this BiH municipality during the local elections on October 2nd, and the elections were interrupted. HDZ BiH blames the Bosniak side for the incident.
The Croatian delegation will meet today with the mayor of this municipality, Stjepan Bošković, who is a member of HDZ BiH.
A member of the Presidency of BiH, Dragan Čović, also visited Stolac on Saturday. He condemned the violence that marked the elections in Stolac.
From the "Initiative for Stolac", which brings together Bosniaks, Croats, and Serbs from Stolac, they stated that the incident has no inter-ethnic character, and that it occurred because the municipal organization of HDZ BiH has been perpetrating violence against the residents of Stolac for years, and on October 2nd, they attempted to commit electoral fraud, writes NAP.
