Croatian Agency Filed Two Criminal Complaints Over Diplomas from Široki Brijeg

ZAGREB, (Patria) - Of the 145 criminal complaints filed by the Agency for Vocational Education in the Republic of Croatia, two related to applications submitted for the recognition of qualifications obtained at the Secondary Vocational School "Education Center" Široki Brijeg, Patria learns from the Croatian Agency.

The Education Center Široki Brijeg came into public attention when Žurnal journalists obtained a diploma from the Secondary Medical School in 17 days, after the Prosecutor of the BiH Prosecutor's Office, Biljana Simeunović, refused to conduct an investigation into the forgery of diplomas at that private school, even though she had received a request to open a case from the Agency for Investigations and Protection of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Journalists proved that it is possible to buy a high school diploma for 17 days and 2,500 KM at the Education Center Široki Brijeg, which constitutes a serious criminal offense. 

It is suspected that the private school from Široki Brijeg, whose owners are linked to the top leadership of HDZ in Bosnia and Herzegovina, has issued hundreds of fake diplomas.
