HNS: Croatian Presidency of the EU a great opportunity for BiH

(Patria) - Croatian political representatives in Bosnia and Herzegovina, gathered around the Croatian National Assembly, welcome the beginning of the six-month presidency of the Republic of Croatia of the European Council. Working on priority areas that include development, connectivity, security, and influence, the Croatian presidency will enable further progress in developing a strong Europe in all areas of EU action.

"As a prominent advocate for the European future of Southeast Europe, the period of the Croatian presidency is a crucial moment for BiH. Increased cooperation with European partners will enable the acceleration of the European path and the achievement of candidate country status for membership. The presidency of the European Union is a historic opportunity for progress and cooperation united in achieving long-term strategic goals and the vision of a prosperous European homeland of BiH.

Through political dialogue and internal agreement, Bosnia and Herzegovina must achieve stability and membership in the European Union, which is the leading foreign policy priority and commitment of the residents of BiH," the HNS announced.
