HDZ BiH objects to Osmanović's letter to Croatia, Grubeša's is not problematic

Regarding the announced start of the construction of the Pelješac Bridge, the Minister of Civil Affairs of BiH Adil Osmanović recently sent a letter to the Minister of the Sea, Transport and Infrastructure of the Republic of Croatia Oleg Butković, informing him about the existence of legal obstacles to the construction of the bridge. This bothered Nikola Lovrinović (HDZ), who today asked Osmanović in what capacity and on whose behalf he sent this letter, writes the Patria News Agency.

Lovrinović even said that he is considering initiating accountability proceedings due to such behavior by Minister Osmanović. Of course, Lovrinović did not ask the same question to the Minister of Justice of BiH Josip Grubeša, because he also sent a letter, so Osmanović called for principledness.

- It is true that on 28.8.2017, I sent a letter to my colleague Minister Oleg Butković, and the letter is titled 'Notification of legal obstacles to the construction of the Pelješac Bridge'. I did not state, nor could I have stated, the position of the Council of Ministers. This is not the first letter I have sent to other colleagues.

I think a significant number of my colleagues communicate in this way. For the sake of principledness, you should have asked this earlier, so I don't know why you didn't ask colleague Grubeša why he also sent a letter.

This is a well-intentioned notification that there are legal obstacles, because the real question is on the basis of which document Croatia claims there are no legal obstacles to construction, who sent that document – said Osmanović.
