Members of the Croatian Party and HDZ 1990 in Central Bosnia and Zenica-Doboj Canton are appalled by the latest scandal surrounding the "working material" that is mysteriously circulating within the Central Election Commission, and which was clearly intended to be the legal basis for interventions in the Election Law concerning the election of delegates to the House of Peoples of the FBiH Parliament.

- Although the president of the CEC, Irena Hadžiabdić, publicly distanced herself, stating that the institution she heads does not stand behind this political garbage, it is quite clear that the leaders of some ruling parties, and perhaps even individuals from the international community, have had their fingers in this treacherous deception. For Croats in Bosnia, the malicious handwriting of Dragan Čović and his closest associates is particularly recognizable. By imposing chauvinistic provisions on the election of delegates to the federal House of Peoples, according to the 2013 Census, Čović, with the approval of his spineless party members from Bosnia, wants to finally and openly butcher the Croatian political and physical being from Sarajevo, Zenica, Tuzla, Travnik, Bugojno, and so on, depending on the occasion.

For the members of the Croatian Party of BiH and HDZ 1990 from the areas of Bosnia and RS, Dragan Čović is definitively the greatest political evil that must be stopped – it was announced.

They further note that Croats from these areas were victims of a mad war conflict during the war, especially with Bosniaks, and paid a high price from Posavina, through Usora, Žepče, Kraljeva Sutjeska, Vareš, and Central Bosnia, and they will not allow, as they say, the Belgrade puppet and his yes-men to treacherously exterminate them from their historical hearths.

- At the first opportunity, and we believe it will be as early as October this year, we will launch an initiative to declare Dragan Čović an undesirable person in our areas. We appeal once again to the high officials of HDZ BIH from the areas of Bosnia to see the light and raise their voices against the dark deceptions regarding changes to the Election Law, because our future in our country could be tragic for all of us – the statement from HS and HDZ 1990 reads.
