(Patria) - Traffic on Croatian roads towards the coast has intensified, including at the Lučko toll station.
- We are reporting from the MUP helicopter, which is monitoring traffic from the air over all major Croatian motorways.
Specifically, we took off from Lučko airport and are now in the air above the A1 motorway.
As you can see, traffic is heavy on most roads, especially towards the coast.
So, at the toll stations, a queue 2 kilometres long has formed, not only at Lučko but also at Demerje. Likewise, as in the direction of the coast, there is also a queue towards Zagreb - said journalist Lucija Judnić from the helicopter flying above the motorway.
As for the queue, what you see below us now is before the Jastrebarsko junction, before Karlovac itself, cars are driving in a slow-moving queue. Traffic is very dense, with a high flow of vehicles, which is normal given that it is the second weekend in July.
- Therefore, drivers are advised to maintain safety and distance between vehicles, especially in such queues, but also on motorways in general. Not only on motorways, but also on roads throughout the Republic of Croatia, especially in the coastal area - said Judnić.
