Border police in Gradiška found a 20-year-old Croatian citizen unconscious

Police officers of the Field Office Northwest - Gradiška of the BiH Border Police noticed a woman lying unconscious in front of a catering facility in the center of Gradiška around 7:30 PM last night, reports the BiH news agency Patria.

After providing her with artificial respiration and first aid, they handed her over to the emergency medical services, who transported her to the Gradiška Health Center. It was later determined that she is a citizen of the Republic of Croatia, born in 1995, and that she is out of danger.

BiH Border Police officers also participated in saving a human life last week. Namely, on March 25, 2015, around 9:30 PM, during the surveillance of the border area, members of the Brčko Border Police Unit noticed a burning vehicle in the Brezovo polje area, which was in a ditch off the road. After extinguishing the fire, police officers pulled the driver, who was not in life-threatening condition, out of a Volkswagen Caddy vehicle and transported him to the Urgent Center of the Brčko Hospital in their official vehicle. It was later determined that he is a BiH citizen born in 1949, and the case was handed over to the Brčko District Police for further jurisdiction.
