Grabar-Kitarović strengthening relations with BiH and Serbia?

Croatian President Kolinda Grabar-Kitarović will focus her foreign policy on relations with BiH and Serbia in the upcoming period, and intends to visit Russia in October, HINA reported, citing an unnamed source from Pantovčak, reports NAP.

An unnamed source close to the Croatian President's cabinet stated that there is a possibility of Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić visiting Croatia.

Beta reminds that the daily Večernje novosti published on Wednesday that Vučić will soon receive an invitation from the Croatian President to officially visit Zagreb by the end of the year, which would open a new phase in the relations between the two countries.

A source close to the Croatian presidency stated that Croatia wants this visit to happen, which "would not be protocolary but substantive in order to start resolving open issues," including the issue of missing persons.
Not many details were provided regarding the improvement of relations between BiH and Croatia. Much effort will be needed to bring these relations to an enviable level, considering that Croatia owes a lot to Bosnia and Herzegovina, starting with property that belonged to BiH after the breakup of Yugoslavia, which Croatia has never returned.

The last burden Croatia has placed on BiH is the announced construction of the Pelješac Bridge in the Bay of Mali Ston, which would block Bosnia and Herzegovina's access to the open sea, writes NAP.
