EURO 2020 Hungary stop Slovenia on their way to the semi-finals

SARAJEVO, (Patria) - At the European Handball Championship, Hungary defeated Slovenia 29:28, in a very important competition for the continuation of the championship.

Slovenia led for most of the first half, even holding a four-goal advantage. 

However, the Hungarians gathered their strength midway through the second half and ultimately celebrated an important victory.

Dolanec was the best for Slovenia with eight goals, while for Hungary, Banhidi scored nine goals, and the Hungarian goalkeepers were also in good form. 

Hungary is now second in the table, with a better head-to-head record against Slovenia. This group will remain uncertain until the last match.
