Erdogan to Croatia: Remove the bureaucratic oligarchy or you won't be able to do anything

As part of the visit of Turkish President Tayyip Erdogan to Croatia, the Croatian-Turkish Economic Forum is being held, organized by the Croatian Chamber of Economy, reports the Patria News Agency.

The attendees were addressed by Croatian President Kolinda Grabar-Kitarović and Recep Tayyip Erdogan.

In his address, Erdogan emphasized that Croatia needs to work on removing bureaucratic obstacles for businessmen.

"In the business world, which suffers from bureaucracy, work must be done to remove the bureaucratic oligarchy. Politicians are successful when they somehow step back from the bureaucratic oligarchy. If you do not remove the bureaucratic oligarchy, you can do nothing," warned Erdogan.

I invite all Turkish companies to invest in Croatia, and we will do everything to facilitate Croatian companies to invest in Turkey. We have as many as 6 areas in which we can cooperate, which is why we want the Croatian Chamber of Economy to open a representative office in Turkey.

From Istanbul, you have a hub from which you can reach a large part of important world cities in a 4-hour flight. Dear Madam President, with this forum, we have taken a huge step in deepening friendship and creating new opportunities for the economies of Turkey and Croatia. I thank Croatia as the host, on my behalf and on behalf of the delegation, Erdogan concluded, writes Index.
