Serbian state leadership unwelcome in Potočari on July 11, Vučić has no objections

Mayor of Srebrenica Municipality Ćamil Duraković stated that the Organizational Committee for the commemoration of the anniversary of the genocide in Srebrenica has made a decision that the "Serbian state leadership is unwelcome on July 11 at the commemoration in Potočari".

- Those who deny the genocide are not welcome at the commemoration in Potočari - said Duraković, reports Patria.

Prime Minister Aleksandar Vučić also reacted, stating that the leadership of Srebrenica has the right to want or not want someone in Potočari on July 11.

- They have the right to want or not want someone. We will not create a problem and we accept their idea that we are surplus in Srebrenica. They are always welcome here. And we were welcome a few months ago - said Vučić.

He stated that he would not delve into the reasons whether this decision was made due to the election campaign or for some other reason.

He stated that he perceives the Mayor of Srebrenica Municipality, Ćamil Duraković, as a friend of Serbia and his good acquaintance, and that he is always welcome in Serbia.
