HNS's second proposal on public RTV service: RTRS remains, FTV to be divided into Bosniak and Croat

The HNS's proposal on organizing the public television system in Bosnia and Herzegovina will be discussed today at a public hearing in the building of the Parliament of Bosnia and Herzegovina in Sarajevo, starting at 12 PM, writes Patria.
The Croatian National Assembly has proposed two models for the future of the Public RTV system in BiH, as the HNS considers the current model in BiH unsustainable.

The first HNS model envisages the Public RTV system in BiH being divided into four services, one umbrella, civic, BHRT1, and three that would broadcast programs in the languages of the constituent peoples of the country; BHRT B, BHRT S, and BHRT H, with headquarters in Sarajevo, Banja Luka, and Mostar.

The second, supplementary proposal by the HNS envisages an umbrella public RTV system in BiH, namely BHRT, then RTRS and the Radio Television of Federation of BiH, which would consist of two services, one broadcasting programs in Bosniak, the other in Croatian. RTRS would broadcast programs in Serbian. All these services would be obliged to take part of their programming from other services.
