Second coronavirus victim in Croatia, 481 infected

SARAJEVO, (Patria) - A 74-year-old man from Zagreb, who had been on a respirator for the past few days due to a severe form of coronavirus, died at the "Dr. Fran Mihaljević" Clinic for Infectious Diseases in Zagreb, Index.hr has confirmed.

The hospital director, Alemka Markotić, stated at today's press conference of the National Civil Protection Headquarters that one of the patients on the respirator is in critical condition.

His wife is also in serious condition.

Index reminds that the 74-year-old is the second victim of coronavirus in Croatia. Yesterday it was confirmed that a caterer from Istria who died seven days ago died of coronavirus.

A total of 481 cases of infection have been registered in Croatia.
