The plane carrying Serbian President Tomislav Nikolić to the Vatican returned to Belgrade due to an engine malfunction, Tanjug reports, as conveyed by the Patria News Agency.
Furthermore, the visit to the Holy See has been cancelled.
The Serbian President had set off on a one-day official visit to the Vatican, where he was scheduled to meet with Pope Francis.
