While Vučić and Kovač worry about their citizens in Turkey, Crnadak travels from Cuba to Canada!

After unrest began in Istanbul and Ankara on Friday evening, caused by a coup attempt by several hundred soldiers who ran over people with tanks and blocked cities, the consequences of which will be felt for a long time, authorities from the region's countries, which have a large number of citizens in Turkey, reacted, writes the BH News Agency Patria.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Serbia issued a statement in which Prime Minister Aleksandar Vučić calls on citizens not to travel to Turkey, as the Government of the Republic of Serbia cannot guarantee the safety of its citizens in that country.

The Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs of Croatia also issued a statement calling on Croatian citizens not to travel to Turkey until the situation calms down, and Minister Miro Kovač followed the situation hour by hour.

However, there was no official statement from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of BiH, and the Ministry's website contains a warning from March 2015 not to travel to Yemen! Minister Igor Crnadak was in Cuba at the same time and is continuing his journey to Canada.

Given that a large number of people from these countries are in Turkey, both in Istanbul and other cities, especially in tourist centers like Antalya, Kemer, Belek, and Alanya, a more timely reaction from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of BiH was expected. The exact number of BiH citizens in Turkey is still unknown, but according to data from travel agencies, it is over 2,000.
