(Patria) - Police in Serbia today conducted a check following bomb threats in several schools in New Belgrade and determined they were false, confirmed by the Ministry of Interior for RSE.
The bomb threats arrived around 9 a.m., and media reported that the schools were evacuated.
Several elementary schools in Belgrade also received anonymous bomb threats on December 1.
There were bomb threats in Novi Pazar, in western Serbia, and yesterday police, in cooperation with the Counter-Terrorism Service, identified two students from an elementary school.
They are suspected of sending emails about planted bombs in elementary and secondary schools, as well as a supermarket in this city.
False bomb threats were also received last month by Radio Television of Serbia and Radio Television of Vojvodina.
