It's easy for Dodik to talk about secession when he built palaces in Belgrade

At a time when Bosnia and Herzegovina is shaken by unrest and when, according to analysts, BiH is in its most difficult situation since Dayton to date, separatism in Banja Luka is being talked about more and more loudly, and the Croatian Parliament is discussing the third entity. However, Ejup Ganić, an academic and member of the BiH wartime Presidency, believes that the situation in BiH is unstable because the economic situation is very difficult.

- However, I don't think all those who are trying to do something against Bosnia have any strong arguments, except for this chaotic situation, corruption, and the incompetence of politicians. But this does not strike at the foundations of BiH – Ganić said.

Commenting on the statements of Milorad Dodik, the President of Republika Srpska, Ganić adds that there is no gasoline in Banja Luka, and that Dodik has nothing else to talk about but attempts at secession.

- What else will he talk about in Banja Luka? Will he talk about development, about agriculture, about employment, about how they have driven out everything that is not Serbian and now they can decide what they want. So, why didn't they decide to have a good economy, why didn't they employ people, why didn't they start production. I am sorry, they are our people and we care about there being jobs in Banja Luka – Ganić added.

He further says that Dodik talks about secession, while he has already seceded.

- He has built palaces in Belgrade and it is easy for him, but what about the other Serbian people who have to live and work in Bosnia and Herzegovina. We will face the fate of all European countries. The organization will be within regions, and all these are minor turbulences that will gradually disappear – Ganić added.
