(Patria) - The President of Republika Srpska, Milorad Dodik, reacted to the visit of Croatian President Zoran Milanović to Derventa. Although a sharper reaction was expected, given that the visit of the Croatian president caused sharp reactions, Dodik was nevertheless mild. It is known that the two share the same views on certain issues in and around BiH.
"Derventa is undoubtedly in RS, both before and after Milanović's visit, and the Croatian army was undoubtedly the loser here. The history of Serbs and Croats is difficult, and it will take years of effort to bridge the differences and resolve the issues that divide us," Dodik stated on his Twitter profile.
Dodik added that the Croatian president is committed to respecting the Dayton Agreement and Republika Srpska as a political and legal fact.
Croatian President Zoran Milanović attended the commemoration of the 31st anniversary of the founding of the 103rd HVO Brigade in Derventa today, which he decorated with the Order of Nikola Šubić Zrinski, and stated that the Dayton Agreement is still very important and that Croatia will defend it, not by force but with a "bold response".
