Dodik in Belgrade: Serbia is the mother country, and RS is the state of the Serbian people in BiH

(Patria) - President of Republika Srpska Milorad Dodik said that the time is coming for the national and political gathering of Serbs, in which they will have to give unified answers and raise their integration to a higher value level, and that the basic policy of Republika Srpska is the greatest possible connection with Serbia.

- The time is coming when we will deal with problems, not with ourselves, and give a unified national popular response to the challenges that Serbs as a people face, regardless of which areas we are in - said Dodik, who addressed as a guest at the congress of the Socialist Party of Serbia in Belgrade.

Dodik emphasized that the Serbian people should remain outside existing stigmatizations and attempts to place Serbs, Serbia and Republika Srpska only on one side, as if history has no duration, neither past nor future.

- So that as such we all remain gathered together around Serbia as the mother country and Republika Srpska as the state of the Serbian people in BiH - stated Dodik.

He added that he believes that Republika Srpska and Serbia, the entire Serbian people in Montenegro and anywhere else, must raise their integration to a higher value level and that everything done so far has even greater significance.

- I am proud of the fact that today Serbia and Republika Srpska have the best possible form of cooperation, thanks to the efforts of the leaders of both republics, and I am convinced that we understand and support each other more and more - emphasized Dodik.

He stated that the basic policy of Republika Srpska is the greatest possible connection with Serbia, as the motherland and mother country of the Serbian people, and with all people.

- We want to preserve every single living Serbian and every good head that exists in these areas in the hope that we will together find answers to the challenges that are pulling us into destabilization. That is why the policy of stability, peace and unity is absolutely irreplaceable - said Dodik.

Dodik thanked Serbia and the President of Serbia, Aleksandar Vučić, for the cooperation they have, which is permeated by the policy they pursue.

- I believe that only the right policy implies coalition and party gathering around important value matters - said Dodik, who is also the president of the SNSD.
