The President of Republika Srpska, Milorad Dodik, stated tonight on the show "Pošteno" hosted by Duška Jurišić on Federal Television that citizens of the smaller entity will have the opportunity to vote in the elections in Serbia, reports the BiH news agency Patria (NAP).
Dodik first stated that his dream is for Serbs in Banja Luka to vote for the President of Serbia, just as Croats who have Croatian citizenship vote and campaign for elections in that country, and then said that this will happen.
The President of RS did not, however, explain how he intends to implement this, especially at a time when official Belgrade is distancing itself from him. Also, when asked by host Jurišić, Dodik did not want to answer who he will support in the upcoming elections in Serbia, but he did say that he expects Aleksandar Vučić's party to win the highest number of votes. The live show with Dodik as a guest is being broadcast while negotiations between leaders and the European Commissioner are underway.
