Dodik with Vučić: Serbia will not interfere in BiH elections

BELGRADE, (Patria) - The President of the BiH entity Republika Srpska, Milorad Dodik, visited Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić today, discussing numerous topics, migrants, the upcoming elections in BiH, and cooperation between Serbia and RS, Serbian media report, Patria agency conveys.

After the meeting, Dodik stated that RS is a "national priority for Serbia because 1.2 million Serbs live there.

- This is a lesson that not only those in Sarajevo but also those in the West must learn one day - Dodik said.

He added that he agreed with Vučić to hold a joint session of the two governments at the end of August in Trebinje, and after that, to visit Foča where Serbia and RS will jointly build two power plants on the Drina.

When asked if he expects Vučić's support as a candidate for the BiH Presidency member, Dodik said that Serbia will not interfere in that. Dodik emphasized that he expects an absolute victory in the upcoming elections.

Dodik also discussed the migrant crisis with Vučić and reiterated his stance that "there will be no migrant centers in RS."

- Republika Srpska will not accept any such center in its territory - Dodik was categorical.

Vučić and Dodik also discussed the situation with Kosovo.
