Dodik objected to the development of the 'special purpose' industry in FBiH, Serbia invests 14 million KM in RS

BANJA LUKA, (Patria) - In April 2018, statements by BiH Presidency member Bakir Izetbegović on the progress of the special purpose industry in the FBiH entity led to the scheduling of an emergency session of the highest state legislative body in the country.

The session of the House of Representatives of the BiH Parliamentary Assembly was scheduled at the request of SNSD representatives. Dodik called Izetbegović's statement on the progress of the special purpose industry a "warmongering statement".

Members of SNSD and their leader Dodik requested a parliamentary debate regarding the production of weapons in factories of the special purpose industry in the Federation of BiH. On the other hand, analysts warn that the BiH Parliamentary Assembly has never discussed the warmongering statements of the president of SNSD and the BiH entity of RS, Milorad Dodik, who very often states that "BiH is a failed state" and "how he dreams that the BiH entity will one day be annexed to neighboring Serbia.".

Two months later, Milorad Dodik, together with the Minister of Defense of the Republic of Serbia, Aleksandar Vulin, announced from Banja Luka that it is a mutual intention to improve the cooperation between Republika Srpska (RS) and Serbia in the field of special purpose industry!.

The signing of a cooperation agreement with the Banja Luka company "Kosmos" is announced for today, and that company, as Vulin stated, can count on 100 million dinars from the Ministry of Defense of Serbia.

In accordance with the orders of the Supreme Commander of the Serbian Army and the agreement with the President of RS, Milorad Dodik, the Ministry of Defense of Serbia has allocated 850 million dinars (14.1 million KM) for various needs of companies in the defense industry of RS, i.e., for the overhaul of tank and aircraft engines.

He emphasized that Serbia will make significant efforts to help and strengthen RS economically, and these are the first results.

Dodik claims that the cooperation between RS and Serbia in the special purpose sector was initiated for commercial reasons to, after years of devastation, "due to the interventionism of the international factor," revive this production in RS, with the support of Serbia.
