Dodik: Banja Luka belongs more to Vučić than to Izetbegović

(Patria) - The President of the Alliance of Independent Social Democrats (SNSD) Milorad Dodik spoke at a press conference about the statements made yesterday by party leaders Fahrudin Radončić, Bakir Izetbegović and Željko Komšić.

"Yesterday, the reactions to the joint venture of Izetbegović, Komšić and Radončić, which was an obvious attack and outpouring of hatred towards Serbia and its president, towards RS and everything that is the Serbian people and their history, went unnoticed. The attack was orchestrated, first and foremost, with the aim of establishing the violence carried out through the Dayton institutions, which in essence make decisions contrary to the Dayton Agreement. The High Representative did this extensively, and now the Constitutional Court of BiH is doing it," said Dodik, reports N1.

Dodik called the messages sent by Komšić, Izetbegović and Radončić "outpourings of hatred towards Serbia and RS and speak about the situation in BiH".

"The attack on Serbia and its president is certainly an attempt to undermine Serbia because Serbia bothers Izetbegović and others because it is stable and has achieved significant progress under Vučić's leadership. They know perfectly well that if they remove Vučić, Serbia will enter decades of instability, and an unstable Serbia suits them the most," stated the SNSD leader.

"In any case, it should be said that Izetbegović's appropriation of Banja Luka as a 'šeher' city only serves to deceive his subordinates. Banja Luka has never been a 'šeher' and never will be. Banja Luka belongs to Serbs and the Serbian people and RS. Banja Luka belongs more to Vučić and supports Vučić more than it ever has and ever will support Izetbegović and his followers."

He stated that Vučić, with his performance, showed that he is "a man of peace in the region and that Serbia is a factor of stability".

"There is no secession plan in RS. RS has not made any decision of that kind. RS is not on the agenda for any secession. RS has a legitimate goal to prefer the original Dayton through its actions."

He said that "Izetbegović will never rule Banja Luka nor can he rule it."
