National subject group abolished for children of Croatian nationality in Tramošnica near Pelagićevo

Children of Croatian nationality in the village of Gornja Tramošnica near Pelagićevo in RS have not yet started school, as the authorities in RS have banned them from studying the national group of subjects.

Four children of Croatian nationality previously attended the elementary school "Vaso Pelagić", but they did not start this school year because the national group of subjects was abolished for them.

Fra Pero Baotić, parish priest of the Gorenja Tramošnica parish, told the Patria News Agency that the national group of subjects for children of Croatian nationality is very important, as it not only respects the rights of children currently attending school in Gornja Tramošnica, but also encourages the return of Croats to this part of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

The parents of the children are protesting in front of the "Vaso Pelagić" school, demanding the return of the national group of subjects, Patria writes.
