Ditmir Bushati called for better cooperation between Bosnia and Herzegovina and Albania

Albanian Minister of Foreign Affairs Ditmir Bushati arrived on an official visit to Bosnia and Herzegovina. Bushati said at a press conference in Sarajevo that Albania wants good cooperation with Bosnia and Herzegovina, and as proof of this, the General Consulate of Albania will be opened today in Sarajevo, writes Patria.

- Albania is interested in good relations with Bosnia and Herzegovina, we are interested in relations that focus on citizens first. Our relations are on an upward trend, but on the political side, we will do everything to further improve these relations - said Bushati.

He reminded that Albania does not border Bosnia and Herzegovina, but regardless of that, it is possible to travel between Bosnia and Herzegovina and Albania with only an ID card.

- We need to work a lot on improving our infrastructure, to follow the 'Berlin Initiative' and other steps at an accelerated pace... We need to follow the creation of the Western Balkans Fund... We think all of this will improve our cooperation.
Furthermore, our cooperation should also shift to a focus on education, student exchanges... Their mobility should be at the highest possible level... - said Bushati.

The Albanian Minister of Foreign Affairs said that the number of tourists from BiH visiting Albania is very large. The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Igor Crnadak, who invited citizens of BiH to visit Albania, contributed greatly to this, added Bushati.

Bushati also invited citizens of Albania to visit Bosnia and Herzegovina, especially during the winter season, writes Patria.
