DF: Croatian President claims to be BiH's friend, yet strikes below the belt

(Patria) - The Democratic Front, led by Željko Komšić, member of the BiH Presidency, reacted to the statement by Croatian President Kolinda Grabar Kitarović that Croats are the oldest constituent people in BiH.

"Just yesterday, the Croatian president, a politician by profession and even the head of a sovereign state, suggested to Mr. Dalić, a coach of the Croatian national football team by profession, that 'in the match against Azerbaijan, they should have played more offensively.' No matter how incompatible this was with her job and competencies, it might have seemed even sympathetic to someone.

What the aforementioned president has stated - that Croats in BiH are the oldest constituent people in that same, our, and also the Croatian people's, Bosnia and Herzegovina - is not only untrue, but also ill-intentioned, provocative, and represents another blow 'below the belt' to the neighbor for whom, she herself, persistently claims to be its best friend!

And that this is a continuous policy of 'dismantling' a unified state is confirmed by the words of her numerous political 'ventriloquists', such as Milan Bandić, the mayor of Zagreb," the DF's reaction states.
