DF: Organize an emergency session of the FBiH and Croatian governments regarding Aluminij

SARAJEVO, (Patria) - We are witnessing a kind of, primarily workers' drama that is unfolding these days in Mostar, related to the shutdown and collapse of yet another Bosnian-Herzegovinian economic giant – Aluminijski Kombinat Mostar, the DF announced.

Its further fate can be viewed primarily through the prism of its importance for Herzegovina and through the fate of the workers and their families. Therefore, the Democratic Front demands an urgent joint session of the Government of the Federation and the Government of the Republic of Croatia. The two governments (Government of FBiH and Government of the Republic of Croatia) own 56% and have 100% responsibility for the fate of "Aluminij" and its workers. The way forward is the appointment of a new expert management and support for the establishment of production. In this way, the criminal influence on the Combine, which led to its shutdown, will cease, which the workers themselves have recognized.

This also implies the prompt engagement of all prosecutorial, judicial, and police institutions in reviewing the work of all previous managements in this Combine and filing criminal charges against all those who, through various party-personnel combinations, brought this collective to ruin.

In the aforementioned context, the Democratic Front Club in the House of Representatives of the Parliament of FBiH will formalize the said initiative.
