Dačić responded to Kovač: Such Croatia is the biggest shame of the European Union

First Deputy Prime Minister of Serbia and Minister of Foreign Affairs Ivica Dačić assessed that Croatia continues with provocations, threats, and undisguised hatred that Croatian Minister Miro Kovač is displaying today towards Serbian Prime Minister Aleksandar Vučić and Serbia, reports Patria.

- Croatia and Kovač are obviously bothered when Serbia and its Prime Minister clearly state that they will not allow a repeat genocide and ethnic cleansing of our people, that we will not allow the rehabilitation of the fascist Ustaše Independent State of Croatia and the release of war criminals from the last war. The height of Kovač's cynicism and insolence is also in demanding an apology from Serbia. Those who slaughtered and killed Serbs in concentration camps are demanding an apology from their victims - Dačić stated in a press release.

As he said, Croatia, which has rehabilitated almost all Ustaše criminals and did not even try Ante Pavelić, who died in Spain as a free man, has no moral right to threaten and condition Serbia.

- The fact that such a Croatia, which rehabilitates fascism, is a member of the European Union does not give it any right to insult and threaten Serbia - Dačić emphasized.

He stated that Aleksandar Vučić has received recognition from all leading countries of the world for the policy he is pursuing, a policy of peace and stability, which does not attack anyone, but will not allow a repeat genocide and ethnic cleansing of our people.

- It is time for the European Union to end its silence and state how long it will tolerate the rehabilitation of the fascist Ustaše Independent State of Croatia and the threats to Serbia coming from Croatia. Such Croatia is today the biggest shame of the European Union - Dačić concluded.

The head of Croatian diplomacy, Miro Kovač, stated earlier today that the statement by Serbian Prime Minister Aleksandar Vučić, in which he accused Croatia of reviving the Ustaše ideology and said that Belgrade would never again allow a new Storm, represents a continuation of the policy of "Greater Serbia from the 90s" in which, as he said, Vučić personally participated.
