
Montenegrin international Saša Balić is the new reinforcement for Football Club Sarajevo for the 2016/17 season. This left-footed defender signed a two-year contract with Sarajevo today, and arrives at the Bordo team from the Romanian club ASA Tirgu Mures.
Balić was born on 29.1.1990 in Kotor, and in his career so far he has played for Metalurg and Kryvbas in Ukraine, OFK Beograd, Montenegrin OFK Grbalj, Inter Zaprešić from Croatia, and the aforementioned ASA Tirgu Mures.
In the past season, Balić played 24 matches, and has made twelve appearances for the Montenegrin "A" national team. It is worth noting that our new defender played twelve matches for his country's U-21 national team, and sixteen for the U-19 team. He made fourteen appearances for the cadet national team of Montenegro.
