Regarding the allegations that have appeared in the media, allegedly connecting Zoran Gašović, an official of the Police Directorate of the Ministry of Interior – Security Center Nikšić, with a camp in Bosnia and Herzegovina where, as stated, people were killed, the Montenegrin Ministry of Interior issued a statement, reports the Patria News Agency.
- A police officer named Zoran Gašović has been employed at the Police Directorate of the Ministry of Interior – Security Center Nikšić since 1996. We are not aware that police officer Gašović previously had a different surname.
Colleagues from Bosnia and Herzegovina or judicial authorities from this country have not yet contacted the Police Directorate of the Ministry of Interior regarding any checks related to officer Gašović. If the competent authorities of Bosnia and Herzegovina request checks or express suspicion of the possible existence of any criminal offense, we will act in accordance with legal obligations, the statement reads.
