Crnadak calls for construction of Sarajevo – Podgorica - Tirana road

Minister of Foreign Affairs of Bosnia and Herzegovina Igor Crnadak stated that the issue of constructing the Sarajevo – Podgorica - Tirana road must be актуализиран because it will further strengthen the relations between Bosnia and Herzegovina and Albania. These relations are already on an upward trajectory, writes the Patria News Agency. 

Crnadak received the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Albania, Ditmir Bushati, in Sarajevo today, who is on an official visit to our country. The General Consulate of Albania will also be opened in Sarajevo today. At the press conference organized in Sarajevo, it was stated that Bosnia and Herzegovina and Albania have significant room for cooperation and mutual assistance. 

Crnadak reminded that exports to Albania last year amounted to 42 million KM, and imports from Albania to BiH were 11 million KM. The head of BiH diplomacy believes that these figures indicate that economic relations between the two countries must be further strengthened. Precisely because of better cooperation between the two countries, Crnadak believes that the construction of the Sarajevo – Podgorica – Tirana road is necessary.

Tourists who will visit BiH mountains this winter are seen as economic support from Albania to BiH, and BiH reciprocates this with tourists who visit Albanian beaches in the summer, writes Patria.
