
Minister of Foreign Affairs of BiH Igor Crnadak received today in separate visits the ambassadors of the Republic of Serbia to BiH Stanimir Vukičević, the ambassador of the Republic of Croatia to BiH Ivan Del Vecchio, the ambassador of the Federal Republic of Germany to BiH Christian Hellbach, and the ambassador of the State of Palestine to BiH Rezeq Namoor, reports the Patria News Agency.
During the meetings with ambassadors Vukičević and Del Vecchio, neighbourly cooperation was discussed, emphasizing the readiness for its further strengthening.
Minister Crnadak stressed that BiH strives for continuous improvement of relations with neighbouring and other countries in the region in all areas.
He pointed out that BiH's relations with its neighbours are important for the overall atmosphere of cooperation in the region and its positioning as a safe and attractive space for foreign investment. Bilateral cooperation was assessed as very intensive and will continue through upcoming exchange visits at the level of foreign ministers.
During talks with Ambassador Hellbach, Minister Crnadak expressed gratitude to Germany for its continuous strong support to BiH on its European path and reform process, further strengthened by the German-British initiative that has grown into the EU initiative for BiH.
Minister Crnadak expressed BiH's particular interest in strengthening economic and trade cooperation with the Federal Republic of Germany.
At the meeting between Minister Crnadak and the Ambassador of the State of Palestine to BiH Rezeq Namoor, it was assessed that relations between BiH and Palestine are traditionally friendly with no open issues.
Minister Crnadak and Ambassador Namoor condemned the recent ISIL attack on the Palestinian refugee camp Yarmouk in the suburbs of Damascus, it was announced from the MFA of BiH.
